I’m a retired radiologic technologist and a psychiatric/addictions counselor. During the ‘90’s I founded and edited a print community newsletter for parents, Networking For Prevention, in Rockland County, NY. I’m the website administrator (in the process of moving into the consultant’s position) for the Hadley-Lake Luzerne Historical Society’s website, www.HLhistory.org located in the southern Adirondack Mountains. I’m a writer, photographer, and lapsed blogger aspiring to resurrect this neglected, near-dead site. I tend to follow where I feel led, and though I’d love to move along straight, paved and direct paths, I tend to zigzag into areas pitted with problems and challenges. I’m a classic movies buff, a word puzzles lover, and an avid reader. I’m committed to my husband of 50 years, my huge, extended, blended family, my community, and my work.

I went through some of your posts here. I must say you write really well. Kudos to you.

Joann, I just found your blog. I love it! I have one too, called Yonder Man…I don’t know how to help you find it, so, oh well…

Thanks, John. I’m getting ready to start it up, again. Took a long hiatus to indulge in a long, over due rest. But winter’s on the way and I’m eager to get back into some creative work and reconnect with my readers.

Thanks, Angela. I don’t really think of myself as courageous. But I do love to write and share. And I know we can help each other. Thanks, too, for visiting my site. I took a year off for a long rest. Now I’m returning with a lot more invested in the creative process.
